I took my pump apart last nite because it was leaking down when I stopped pumping to give it and myself a break.Found the problem to be a loose fitting but also some corrosion at the top fitting that the pump handle screws into.( a real bear to get that little pin out ) I store the pump laying down so a will assume that any moisture in the pump found its way to the top so I will not be storing it in this manner any longer and will give it a stroke or two after it has stood in the upright position for a day or so. Guess I had better take the rifle down now because I store it with the butt down.
