| Here's my solution. I removed the barrel sleeve and replaced it with a tube of aluminum that extended all the way up to the barrel clamp. Of course, I had to modify the clamp to slip over the extended sleeve. Next I painted it black to give it that "factory" look. What it accomplished was to positively lock the barrel into a non flex non moveable position that has proven to give incredible accuracy. To this day it blows me (an air gun term) away. Simple and oh so effective. Crosman could easily upgrade current manufacturing to inexpensively incorporate this increase the accuracy "trick" |
