Response to Top Velocity in a Marauder .22?

Sam,

Read the A-Team procedures on the main Crosman PCP page. You probably won't understand it the first time through, but keep reading it and thinking through it, and once you do understand it, it bring a lot of things into focus for you.

But as I said on the other forum, you'll need to get all four things lined up if you want to find out the max velocity that your gun is capable of - high hammer spring preload, long hammer travel, wide open transfer port, and a full fill. And even then you may find that there is more in the gun for your valve at a slightly higher fill pressure. That is what I found on mine.

But once you find that out, you will wnat to tune it back to a usable shot count and curve per the A-Team's procedures. Those are gold a a learning tool.
