I see. Is there a reason why you couldn't just chuck the .22 bolt up in a lathe or drill press and spin it down to fit in the .177 barrel? Or does the barrel not but right up to the breech like it does in the 2240 guns? I imagine if it was this easy, someone probably would have figured this out by now, but I figure it's worth a shot. Otherwise, maybe I'll just get a .22 and wait patiently for the .177 conversion kit.
