Keep moving the delivery date for the Discovery air gun and pump? I place my order for this gun late January, and I'm still waiting. I have done business with Pyramyd Air before and I have been please with them, but I sure would like to get my gun.

CROSMAN

April 29 2008, 12:00 AM

Crosman fills their oun orders first then what is left they dived between tbe dealers. I usually buy through P.A. as well but not this time . I ordered my on a tuesday from Crosman on thursday it was on the truck and I recieved it the following thursday . This took place at the first of this month. After the internet discount it cost me $12 more through Crosman but it was the best spent $12 I have spent in a long time.Marvin

The demand for this rifle is staggering

..I'm sure they are cranking them out as fast as possible while keeping QC in check. Also, there is a que at places like PyramydAir, so those at the top of the waiting list get their products first as they arrive from the manufacturer--it's only fair.

Good news!!!!!!!!

April 29 2008, 10:04 PM

I followed up with a phone call to Pyramyd Air and they told me that my gun will be shipped within 24 hours. It has been a long wait it seems like a year! I have some 22 caliber sample pellets from Straightshooter, a tasco scope Silver Antler 6-24x42, and Leapers Accushot scope mounts (high), I’m ready to try them out. I will keep you posted of the out come. CAN’T WAIT!!!!!!
I'm watching for a email telling me that it has been shipped.

I just cleaned mine for the first time last week. I have probably only put 250-300 pellets down the pipe, so I figgerd now was a good time. Boy, what a dirty bore!
I worked for 20 min, cloths kept coming out black! Are they packing those with cosmo?

BORE CLEANING

April 30 2008, 12:24 PM

Any new gun not just air guns should have the bore cleaned before it is used . All screws should be checked and it is not a bad idea to lub all hinge points and the trigger as well.
