Think we all agree...

August 22 2008, 7:03 PM

..the trigger housing and trigger blade are cartoonish. They work but lack a sense of style...even the Benjamin/Sheridan MSP's have a more proportional trigger to trigger housing.

Funny thing is, I actually don't mind the plastic trigger at all, its wide and comfy BUT

August 22 2008, 11:41 PM

I'd be really glad to see a metal trigger housing/trigger Guard...a metal blade would be nice but I can live without it for the pricepoint.

Sure it was a price saver since it was an existing part from the 2260 rifles.

Regards,

Tony

Hey Tony if you have the power adjust feature how difficult is it to turn.

August 22 2008, 11:00 PM

I think I'm going to have to start working out because I can't turn mine. As for a brake I wouldn't mind one if I could still have the open sight features.

Mike, I only grabbed at my power wheel to see if it was easy to move it

August 22 2008, 11:39 PM

and accidentally move it, not to actually change it, since mine is shooting really tight on the chrony and at the FT class limit...it was stiff, couldn't turn it bare fingered, which is good for me. Seems like I'd need a glove or set of pliers to turn it.

Regards,

Tony

My experience is, to make a Disco power adjuster both easy to adjust...

August 23 2008, 12:04 AM

...without tools, and yet also able to hold its adjustment against bumps, jolts, and vibration, requires a separate locknut.

Which is why the Big Ed adjuster includes one.

Picts of the brake with the Discovery sight mounted....

August 29 2008, 10:43 PM

This is mounted on a 2300T but it is the same barrel collar mounting as the 6" and 7" Discovery brakes:
(This one is glued onto the bright Au. brake. Ultra Black and Carbon Fiber finished brakes are drilled and tapped. And since it's the same diameter as te factory Discovery sight mount, sight adjustment is same as stock.)
