I went to adjust the metering screw tonight and removed all the way since the set screw was missing and I thought that I was removing it. Does anyone know what the factory settings are on the .177 Marauders. I am looking to fill to 3000 using CHPHs otr CPLs for about 900 fps.

Wonder where the set screw went!...

Mine likes aprox 3.5 turns in from the minimum point where the set screw will still fit.I'd start measuring turns aprox 1/8" in the threads to start. I'd strongly reccomend a chrono but 3-4 turns in is about right for normal weight pellets.

I don't know the factory setting but I believe its close. Also each gun can vary so once again-chrono testing really helps get a 3k fill dialed in.

Four turns......

Hans and Ray (of ATeam fame) recommend four turns out (from as far in as you can go) as a starting place:
