I'm thinking about buying the Marauder Pistol andJanuary 15 2011 at 9:40 AM | Fleming (Login Simplyhooked) YC |
| I've got a couple questions about the Benjamin Sheridan Marauder Air Rifle and quality control issues of the past. Have all of the bugs been worked out and would it make a very nice addition to my collection and why? I'm thinking about buying one in .25 caliber and I'm just curious.
I've also been considering buying the Marauder PCP Air Pistol and I was just wondering if it was worth it. Back in the day, I once owned the 1377 and it was a decent little pistol to play around with, I can't remember what I did with it.
I've been reading post about the Marauders for some time now and I don't need another air rifle but the bug is at it again. Most people can't or just won't spend the kind of money that I've spent on my Euro PCPs and from what I've read, Crosman is giving them a "run for their money".
I love airguns and the enjoyment that they bring but I believe it's time for me to buy something, "Made in the US". Way back in the day, you would always hear that or "buy American", that's when we as a nation took pride in what was produced here.
So, what do you think and why?
TIA

of them m-rod 25. & the p-rod.
Both are great no problems with mine.
The 25.is a hunters gun.
You will get 16 shots at 46fpe.
Can be tuned by you to 50-55fpe.
No need to send it out to anyone with this gun it's that good.
The p-rod nice little gun 25-30 shots 13-14 fpe using 16gr pellets.
Find a heavy pellet she likes & she do 16fpe with no tune at all.
Their both keepers in my book.

this is the type answer that I'm looking for because of the hipe and it's a very good way to introduce someone else into the sport without draining their bank account. I do love my Euro/PCPs/springers/10-meter and 1 Korean guns but it's time to come back home and support our own.
I'm grateful for Crosman stepping up and producing an excellent line of airguns and it's about time for me to purchase one or two or how ever many because I'm just "simplyhooked" on airguns.
PS......now I'm going out to shoot for a litle while.
