Marauder Carbine/Bullpup FT Version

With Planning for the World FT Championship in Italy this year we looked into air travel. There is a $150 surcharge each way for each case that is over 50 LBs or over 62" when combining L+W+H.

Our current Marauders fit into a non airline friendly case that is way to big.

So we looked for appropriate gun cases and how to fit our guns into them without major disassembly and reassembly each day.

We had already made components for an electronic trigger assembly back in 2006 so we knew we could do it.

Below is our finished product. 33" over all length with a 14" pull and 13.5 lbs with the extra weight set. About a pound lighter then my full length version and the balance, pull length and eye releife all match the full length version. Trigger is single stage and under 2 ounces.

You have a regular cheek piece so no uncomfortable metal to bear against.

The feel of the full length gun as compared to the Carbine Bullpup are almost identical since we matched all of the full lengths guns dimensions.

Not being stock makers I could have spent much more time on filling and sanding if I had the patients.

This is what it looks like:

demand then there is a possibility that it can be manufactured. But we are talking allot of quantity for Crosman to consider it.

Crossman should consider it...

Have they noticed that Edgun's are going for over $1500 and people are waiting in line to get them? Every Edgun that has shown up on the Yellow Forum Classifieds has gone INSTANTLY for over $1500. If Crossman put together a little bullpup stock I think a lot of folks who are looking at Edguns would be happy to look at an mrod bullpup instead of the Edgun. They could sell stocks to folks who already purchased mrods and a complete set-up to folks who were waiting for an Edgun. I would definitely look at buying a stock. Anyone else have an opinion on this?

I'm with you

I too was contemplating getting an EDgun or a Evanix Max bullpup simply because I don't like traditional stocks, but almost $2000 on an airgun just seems a bit much. Found a company out of poland that makes bullpups, but the cost for that is expensive as well. However: While trying to get my P-ROD up to 30 FPE with a bullpup stock dosen't seem possible. So by the time I spend the money to do all of that I'd be in the range of a EDgun or Evanix.... So now I've got a Airforce TalonP with a R&Lairgunsupply shroud and shooting 48 FPE very quietly without lugging around a full sized rifle it is now my favorite of my three airguns, But now I miss the the repeater on my P-ROD and FX T12. Just hoping that Airforce is working on one.... So yes I'm with you on that. If someone could make a cool PCP airgun out of the box with some sort of bullpup or tactical stock, 25 FPE, and a 10 shot repeater for $1000 or under without doing any mods to it afterwords, would be the cats meow....... I was on the waiting list for an EDgun, but they told me 5 to 8 months and $1900.

The Long stock will be fitted with another action so we have a backup. the Discoveries were our backups and now the Long Marauders will be our backups to our Carbines.
