Has anyone converted their Crosman 2260 to AirSource?

If so, can you provide a brief walk through?

Is the AirSource adapter from the AS1077 compatible?

Thanks.

Same process on this 2250...other than the tube length, same conversion (as I cut the tube to fit the gas block, could make your 2260 tube whatever shorter length tickled you).

Bulk fill valve
QB type gas block (the modded one by JDS is a good one)
Valve retention screws

Know folks avoid valve retention....but I wouldn't.

FAIR WARNING;

Crosman 22XX tubes were NOT designed to hold pressure... evidently they do hold co2 pressure without a problem, but I still need to mention that there is no implied guarantee that bad stuff can't happen.

Initial tests/tuning with a 12gr adaptor (if it was going to leak, better to leak a 12gr than a full paint ball tank):

Did stop along the way to burn up a couple of left over AirSourse 88gr.

Tried 9oz. tanks...a little bit heavy for such a light gun.

Tried 3.5oz. Paint ball tanks...and if I were to use a short barrel, would work out pretty nice for compactness.

Ended up with a slightly shorter barrel and running on a 13ci HPA air tank.
