I finally broke down and got a prod, but now i need to modify it cause i just cant leave good enough alone. Can i stuff my 2240 barrel in this spiffy new prod?

Trying to avoid another "project" on my bench sitting for months?

Hi Kevin. The diameters are the same. The transfer

ports should line up also. Big difference is the grub screw flats, different places.
But your milling machine will take care of that. The only other differences would be length.

Staying with .22? I have a complete 1700 upper on my P-Rod and I love it.

Have fun my friend!

O-ring in a groove inside the p-rod...

...which is why the p-rod bolt probe doesn't have an o-ring.

Pretty shure they won't. Believe they are different diameters.

If you are looking for longer length, the Marauder rifle barrel works just fine. Cut it to length.
Cheap too.

If it is of any help...

..if converting to .177, the 1700/1701 bolt will fit, and it has an o-ring on the bolt/no o-ring in the barrel.

Figure Crosman went with the o-ring in the barrel on magazine fed versions (like the P-Rod) to avoid chewing the o-ring on the bolt.
