I have a 2 yr old Mrod. It did'nt get much use other than weekends due to job issues, and recently sat for about 10 months. I now have the opportunity to use it more, and after use, I tend to leave it pressurized to 2.8 - 3K. My issue is this...it will lose 1K psi overnight. I have intentionally left it for 7 days and the pressure is steady at about 1.8K psi and holding. Is this an o-ring issue? (as in, will I need to replace them?) Or do I just need to clean out the pressure cylinder?
Also, it has never been tank filled, benji hand pump only, and in a So Cal beach community. (corrosion from salt air maybe?)
I'm asking because I have never taken it apart, I just received an HDD and I have some hose to use as a depinger, but I want to solve the pressure problem before or during the depinger and HDD installation and would appreciate any tips or tricks from those with more experience.
you will probably have to replace an O ring. Here's

a way to find the leak. Put a small balloon on the end of the barrel and another one on the fill fitting. Fill the gun and leave it overnight. If one of the balloons starts to fill up, that's where your leak is. If neither starts to fill, it's probably leaking at the gauge. The gauge might just be loose. Take the stock off and see if you can tighten it. Wrap some electrical tape around the gauge before you put a wrench on it so you don't scratch it. You don't have to tighten it very much, but see if it moves. There should be an O ring on the shaft of the gauge. Hope this helps. Make sure to degas your gun before you take the gauge off.

I'll give the ballon test and water a try, I found the post here covering the necessary o-ring set w/link and ordered enough to completely replace them 5 times, and for only about 8 bucks. when they come in, ill probably just replace 'em all just to be sure. I gotta get it working now that I live in the AZ desert!
