Regulators and De-pingers ... Required still ?

About to install a regulator in my M-rod and had a thought that had no answer ???

As many who own them, Marauders NEED de-pingers to quite down/snuff the "Ping"
*But now adding a Regulator ahead of valve, IS the sound signature of valve popping open still resonating down the air tube giving the "Ping" with a regulator in place :o ?

Not found anything about it searching threads .........

Thanks,
Scott

Still needed...

Unless your reg is turned way down, the valve will still receive a pronounced strike by the hammer, resulting in the ping in some Marauders.

For no more trouble than it is...try it without the tubing and see if there is a problem in your particular Marauder.
