I know that there must be hundred's of techos out there who access this site on a daily basis for various purposes but does anyone here know how Essbase originally got created?

Was it a bunch of guys working from the back of a garage who started it all and who decided to then create Arbor Software to market it to the rest of the world?

Who were those guys and what have become of them now?

Anyway, just being curious about Essbase's history as I couldn't find any information about it even from the Wikipedia site.

Cheers,

JM
