Response to Essbase Version 11 and Clustering

Essbase clustering requires both sites have a shared filesystem which means you need to have very fast disk -- this assumes they are using clustering as documented in the EPM High Availability Guide; see Chapter 5 of http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/epm_high_avail_11121.pdf

The main document site for 11.1.2.1 is at: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17236_01/nav/portal_1.htm

I suggest you ask to interview other customers where they have implemented this as clustering can be a more challenging setup, more difficult to maintain, and it may not really your potential business problem appropriately.
