Hmm, something else is going on here.

The reason the level zero export is fast is because it bypasses the index and just writes all blocks out to disk.

100 megabytes isn't very big, in fact it's small. Do you have really old hardware? An incredibly fragmented drive? A SAN/Essbase server that is doing 3 million other things simultaneously? Or is your .PAG files size incorrectly stated?
