There is only one alias table in this application, that is the default alias table. In the Application Setting the alias is set as from this default table.
As I said before, when managing the dimensions, you can see all the aliases for members listed under column "Alias (Default)". This in on the Planning metadata side.
And when using Smart View or Essbase AddIn to connect to the application I can retireve the correct aliases from its Essbase cube. This is from the Essbase cube side.
The above cases indicate to me that the application does point to the correct default alias table,and it does push that default alias table to Essbase cube, right?
Then why the data form only shows the member name when designed to display alias?
This really puzzles me!
