Response to Running CubeRefresh command on Planning server
Have you tried PSEXEC? I have not tried this recently but it did work at one of our client system 9 implementations.
Other options to execute stuff on essbase/planning server using single process:
1. Run Batch using ODI: you could fire shell scripts on any server through ODI
2. HAL: This worked well through HAL too.
3. Install essbase client on planning server: Then you can run maxl from Planning server, execute refresh, and return back to execute MaxL.
