Essbase Studio CPL Shell Host name

By definition:

When using the start_BPMS_bpms1_CommandLineClient.bat after installing a Patch, it prompts you for a host name. I understand this is a very noobish question, but by definition what is a valid host name? I've tried it with the server name that the Studio is resident on as well as other options, none works, so rather than pull out what little hair I have left, I thought I would show my ignorance and ask.
