  • Unable to connect Oracle Datasource from Essbase Studio and EAS 11.1.2.1

      Hi All,
      In one of our servers,Oracle has been installed with servaname as "Localhost".I installed in Essbase with this servername during configuration and it went fine.
      During Datasource connection in Essbase Studio Tool,I given servername as 'Localhost' and with valid credintials,It showing list of databases however when i click on 'TestConnection' or 'Next' ,It throws an error like
      'Replace localhost servername with your ip address'.

      I tried to access using ip address then it thows an error 'Unable to connect to Oracle Server'.

      My concern is,In the same server we already installed OBIEE 11.1.1.5 and we dont want to disturb anything

      Oracle 11g

      Hyperion Essbase-11.1.2.1
      Server: windows Server 2003

      I tried changing in hosts file however no luck

      Can someone look into this issue and need your assistance on high priority basis.
