Tapped with Magic Wand (Need Some Understanding, of ESSSVR!)
Posted Aug 7, 2012 2:58 PM
We are running 126.96.36.199.0 b126 (which I hope is build and not beta) of essbase. Couple of things, I ran into looking through the logs and I find errors like the ones below, but also my main concern is that I checked out the support matrix and I don't see RHEL5 64 bit release for supporting this essbase 188.8.131.52 release. I logged a SR, but found this board, so I thought lets try here.
The main issue is the esssvr process is consuming a bunch of memory to the point the host crashes, I don't know if these
variable issues are truly problems or just bad code. :-)
Is the main Hyperion application 9.3 and the essbase and planning are components and they have a different version or are they truly separate applications.
again, I was tapped this morning at 08:30hrs for this thing, sorry for newbie questions etc. frankly what I see so far on the oracle support site is we are on a unsupported RHEL release.
my MaxL reports:
Essbase MaxL Shell 64-bit - Release 11.1.1 (ESB184.108.40.206.0B126)
