Partitionning adding/merging data

Hi,

I already posted this message on Oracle forum.

I'm far from being a partitioning specialist so my question may sound silly...

Is it possible to do data merging using partitioning :

SOURCE TARGET
Member A data ------> Member A
Member B data ------> Member A
Member C data ------> Member A

I tried migrating a set of reports scripts and DLR to a new partition but it seems that data cannot be added it is just overwritten.

Did I missed something then?
