Hi,

We have installed 64-bit EPM v11.1.2.1 on a distributed environment with Windows 2008 R2 SP1.

Everything has gone smoothly (warning sign 1 I guess) until we start up Workspace and finds everything empty.. well not completely empty as we can access Shared Service. But there is no navigation wheel, and therefore no access to essbase or planning.

If we run the epmsystem diagnostic we have green lamps (except for EPMA and IR both of which we dont use and only installed by mistake). We can access everything directly, ie start Planning (which has no applications so nothing to log into), eas console (where we can see all the sample essbase apps).

Did we miss something after we configured the web services and deployed the applications ?

Best Regards
Soren

When products don't show up it is usually either they were not deployed or web config was not ran afterward. Web config should be the last step.

The uninstall of EPMA would have been coincidental.

Navigation wheel is gone, and replaced by "Navigation"

I like it better -- I got the whole ship analogy but whenever things went wrong all I could think of was, "She's heading for the rocks! Helmsman, hard a-port!"

I have an overactive imagination, however.

:)

It really didn't add anything to the user experience.
