I have one cube with date format 2011-12-31 and another with 2011-12-31 YTD. I need to do mapping for every day of the year. Obviously my maxl script is going to get huge. Is there any way of using wild cards or @match in the mapping rules?

You can assign Alias names to the target members that match the Source member names.

Ive never gotten that to work -- and I did try. The DBA guide specifically says that the partition will validate but won't retrieve any data.

Have you gotten it to work?

I guess I never tested whether the partition would work. My bad.
