DTS via Smart View with Planning connection?

I can refresh "YTD(Mar)" with an Essbase connection all day long. It's enabled, and in Essbase. When I try the same with a Planning connection, I'm getting, "The member YTD(Mar) does not exist or you do not have have access to it."

I tried typing the member in directly, and using Smart View member selection function via the Planning connection to select the DTS member (with most recent period). I tried Y-T-D(Mar) as well.

So it seems that you can select it, you just can't refresh it?

This is using the same Planning app/db.
