Add In issue

Essbase 7.1.6 (old I know!) on Windows 2007 SP3 laptop.

Our Essbase is at 7.1.6, and is not going to be updated as it is deemed a legacy system.

My issue is that I have to move from a desktop to a laptop due to working in 2 different locations (London and Paris). Have successfully installed EAS Console, and re-installed the add in, but the login menu does not appear.

Checked the Arborpath and access rights to C:\Hyperion are ok, but no progress.

Does anyone know what else I might check?

Only alternative is to install Smartview (whcih I need anyway for HFM v11).

Hi,

Did you register the Addin for XLS ?

When you say login page, are you referring to the EAS console loging page ?

No, I was talking about the logon for the classic add in.

However, we resolved the problem.

It was related to permissions.
