It's about time I showed my 850. I finally got a few photos into Brian's hosting service. Thanks for the tutorial, Brian.
Nothing special here, except to me. 22 cal. What a great rifle. Going to add a .177 sometime, but happy with this one for now:
Closeup showing scope, Centerpoint illuminated 3-9x40. It's a nice scope, more than adequate for target shooting:
My collection of Airsource and Paintball adaptors. Started with the longer black B & A adaptor and a 9oz paintball tank. Worked great, but I wanted to put the foregrip back on. Now using the B & A refill adaptors with on off valve and a 12oz paintball tank to refill my airsource tubes. Seems to work great. Thanks again, Roal for the tutorial. The 9oz PB tank has found a home on my 2250XT.
I weigh the airsource before and after, but notice only an ounce or so of weight difference. Is that right?
Another member of the arsenal:
2250XT with 9oz paintball tank using the B & A Airsoruce to PB adaptor. Scope is a Leapers 6x32 Bug Buster mini with adjustable objective. The combo works well at short ranges and makes a great portable carbine. The PB tank works ok as a stock. Not ideal, but works. Grips are from Ralph Brown. I prefer the slight awkwardness of using the PB tank as a stock to the Crosman plastic stock. Thinking of adding a longer barrel to squeeze a few more fps out of it.
I'll add more later, now that I know how to post photos. Just wanted to add my 2cents to the fourm, since I've gained so much help from it.
Among my recent projects have been two quiet pellet traps (versions of traps discussed here) and a portable shooting bench. Last year I put together some lightweight portable target holders.
