Response to Re: Sounds right

EXCELLENT info--looks like that with valve and barrel both flow modified, your 850 is getting almost as much fps as my 1250..It is COMPLETELY stock, and starting at 3750psi fill-shooting down to 2200psi, I can shoot 40 rounds @ 928fps average, if I were to go to max 4350 fill I would get 55 shots @ around the same 928fps...This tells me I don't need to do any mods, or change the hammer spring. I think I either need to find an adapter to hook to my valve on one end, and to 22 cu.in.jds bottle on the other..I agree that 1600 regulator would be correct (and could be tweeked a little if necessary) My other choice is to find correct washer stack-up for my regulator to get the 850-875fps that I want.....If BOTH of those fail, then I would have to leave it stock, OR go to a set-up as close to yours as I could get..
As I have stated several times before, I do NOT want to have to do all the modifications, except only as a last resort.I'd like to keep the air cylinder it came with.., as I like the look much better, and besides that, I already have an hpa gun with an external bottle on it (shoots +34FPE)... and I don't want my guns looking the same.Soon as I get new valve,I have a few things to try, hopefully one of which will give me the wanted results..if not then your set-up will be my build guide-line.
