Hello everybody, I'm newbie here but been lurking on the forum for months and thought that it is time to introduce myself happy.gif

Here's what I have so far:
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
1250 in .25, the forestock has been epoxy glued to the stock making it one piece, the "claw" holding the forestock to barrel has been removed and the stock has been sanded under the barrel to make it real free float. Also added a Harris-type bipod and swivel mount for it.

[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
Installed adjustable buttstock and filled the buttpiece of the stock with sand to add some weight and balance the gun.

[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
Made a bigger bolt and longer bolthandle "8-ball" happy.gif for easy cocking. Installed long weaver rail for scope.

Here's how She performs:
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
2,65mm @ 25M , 5 shots

[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
7,65mm @ 50M, 5 shots

[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
38,65mm @ 100M, 8 shots.

So far I've been happy with the power (50j) and especially the accuracy, so I haven't done any "power mods" yet..
But I'm seriously considering them too, just worrieng about losing accuracy.

Thanks for a great forum , and all the fearless modders that make it happy.gif

Here's some new pics on the way.
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

Modified the pistol grip to better and comfortable grip, laminated the whole stock with fiberglass and added the waterlevel to scope. Changed the sling for more matching black, Coated the pistol grip and forestock with non-slip fabric for better grip.Added the picatinny rail for adjustable cheek piece. Changed the hammersping, added more weight to the hammer and drilled the tranferport and polished ports.Added DIY 6 chambered silencer. Now I'm off to paint the stock.Maybe tomorrow more pics.
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

Added command arms adjustable cheek piece:
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]
Finished gun:
[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

It now pushes the 31gr baracuda 268-272m/s (892-905 ft/s) and +70j power.

The gun weights ~7kg happy.gif and does one holers in 25m. Project finished, I'm satisfied.

Nice congratulations on a nice rifle. I wouldn't mind building one from an 850. How many full power shots do you get out of that cylinder? Vary nice.

Fiberglass adjustable cheekpiece:[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

Made the adjustable cheekpiece because I shoot 95% of time from bipod rest in prone position, and the medium height scope mounts make the position not too comfortable for me.
Made the cheekpiece from fiberglass to fit on the original stock and coated it with textile tape for more comfortable feeling for cheek.

Borrowed a chrony and tested speeds at the track today.

11.271
12.269
13.270
14.268
15.269
16.--

Tested with H&N Baracuda .25 31gr
Conclusion:Power tweaks has worked brilliantly, average energy over 70J happy.gif I think that the reason for so many errors on sting is caused by bad weather..it's raining heavily and weather is dark.
I started with 250bar and finished after 2 mags at little over 150bar left. So with 250bar fill I get 3 mags before change of poi.
Before I start tweaking more I have to find a good heavier pellet the baracuda..so far I have not found one.
Currently I'm very happy with the gun on power and accuracy.

Great shot string, very low spread.
What mods did you do to it and what did the pre mod velocity look like?
Looking very good!

I didn't have chrony back when it was stock.. but my guessing is that it was more than the 50j the factory says..
