Ive not tried these but tempted, the only thing that stops me is that I love the smell of my normal laundry detergent.

What helps with the nice smell??

This is a common a very valid question. Of course we all love our fresh laundry to smell nice and associate a nice smell with the laundry being clean.
My recommendations are to add a few drops of essential oil to your fabric conditioner dispenser or add a couple of drops to a handkerchief and put in the tumble dryer if you use one. Experiment with different oils to find your favourites. For instance I use eucalyptus when someone in the house is suffering from a cold and tea tree with my cloth nappies as it's naturally antibacterial. Lavender is a pretty versatile oil and good bedding and towels etc.
Also I like to add some oils to a water spritzer and blast my laundry with it just before ironing to make the it and the room smell nice.
I hope that helps you.
