Boy, did I ever mess up that message!

Here we go again, this time it might make sense...I hope!

The problem is that people (including me) are reluctant to report sightings. Where's the most reliable website to report a sighting, either old or new? Indiana Bigfoot Society's website would be the closest active website to my area to report something, and would probably be helpful to people in Indiana if they're in the northern part. And this website has an aura of integrity.

The only website I've found for Bigfoot in Michigan is Daigle's website, which has been inactive for a long time. Nothing new has been posted, nor do they answer email messages. There are paranormal sites, but I'm not interested in those. Bigfoot is a real flesh & blood critter, not a time-warping ghostly space being who can disappear right before your eyes. Pudding's pudding & jello is jello. If your try to mix 'em up they just don't taste right. I'm not saying paranormal is garbage... I'm saying that flying saucers & bigfoot are separate phenomena. I refuse to mix them for good reason.

And this copyright business throws me for a loop. It reeks of potential moneygrabbing to me. I've been obsessed with bigfoot for most of my life. For a while I didn't even have a name for the critter. People like me who've seen things, well, we don't want to be ridiculed, and I know I'm not going to hand over info to someone who just wants to make a buck publishing a book. That does nothing to further BF research.

The most legitimate national website appears to be BFRO. I'm considering contacting them with my info. Cooperation between national, regional & state organizations is the way to go.

I believe the BF migrate through areas on a seasonal basis in my area. That means there's a migratory route. Without input from others who have had experiences, and cooperation between the various BF societies in connecting areas, we'll get nowhere fast. BF know no state boundaries.

Anyway, let me know what you think. If you know of a Michigan website I haven't found, please let me know. If you have had a sighting or a questionable experience in the northwest Indiana/southwest Michigan area, please let this forum know.
