Annual WI Autism Conference

The Autism Society of Wisconsin is hosting, "Spanning the Spectrum," our 2004 statewide annual conference on April 22-24 in Madison, WI. It will be held in the Marriott West Conference Center. The first day will be geared toward educators, including topics such as behavioral strategies/intervention, visual supports for children/teens on the spectrum and preventing 'meltdowns.' April 23-24 will be spent on a variety of topics including: Medications, daily living skills for children with ASD 3-10 yrs old, learning styles, and law enforcement issues/concerns. There will be several panel discussions during the conference. Keynote and Breakout speakers include: Dr. Luke Tsai, Catherine Faherty, Maria Bird-West Wheeler, Tina Iyama and Dennis Debbaudt. Exhibitors will have tables to display both products and information for those on the spectrum, and those that support them.
