Our Program:
Designed to increase one’s appreciation for individuals with Asperger’s Syndrome and High-Functioning Autism, the audience will see more clearly how remarkable and challenged a child might be and how they are “like everyone else” and “not so like anyone else.”

Rebecca Klaw, MS, MEd, is the Director for the Center for Autism at Pressley Ridge Schools. Rebecca’s practical and quickly applicable, intensive intervention programs for young children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, is in great demand. Rebecca has been ABOARD’s most sought after faculty for the last five years. She trains both case consultants and direct care staff on methods and techniques used to drive developmental growth in this population. Rebecca runs play groups, social skills groups and parent support groups. In addition to her work at the Center for Autism, she travels around the country, training parents and professionals on a range of topics related to autism. She co-authored a book—recently updated—describing how to write goals and collect data using a develop-mental approach with young children with autism.
