Milestones 4th Annual Autism Conference: “Promoting the Independent Learner”

Milestones Organization invites parents and professionals to attend the 4th Annual Autism Conference, Monday, June 19 at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights. National and local autism experts will be speaking about topics for young children through adulthood on: supports for promoting independence, video modeling, group instruction strategies, managing severe behaviors and transition services. Exhibitors will be located in the lobby displaying products, educational materials and services throughout the day.
Immediately following the conference we will have our annual awards dinner honoring Toby Bresky, an advocate for special needs in the Cleveland community for over 30 years. In addition, we will recognize local educators nominated by parents and colleagues for making a difference in the life of an individual with autism. A Fee for the conference includes a reference binder & meals for the day. Discount Hotel rates available at Clarion and Embassy.
Fees are as follows:
Conference:
$140 for professionals (includes professional development credits)
$100 for parents
Limited scholarships are available.
