Doesn't SHELL use the standard syntax of a Sub?

by OLPC (no login)

All your compiler needs to do is look for a call to the Sub Shell (cmd As String), then replace it with a call to the internal Shell Sub.
I would be surprised if C* does not have an equivalent procedure. ;-)
