People can ask for new things all they want. That doesn't mean that they MUST be implemented. It is up to Galleon to determine what should be included now, what should be included later and what he can implement reasonably or with as little compromise as possible if there is no way around a deviation from QB.

I have made suggestions, some helpful (possible options for implementing SHELL), while others were opinions (I want SHELL to behave this way).


I can see how you came to the conclusion that you did about FB, but I wouldn't place us in the same category. By the way, FB devs felt it was required to add things like 32-bit library support, including those from the open-source community, and Unicode support. I mean, the only Web browser that I wouldn't expect to handle Unicode these days is a text browser in versions of Windows prior to Windows Vista (I remember reading that Vista is basically a stepping stone to Unicode-ifying Windows).

As for the music thing, what are you talking about?

I don't mind waiting for Galleon to complete what he needs to do with school and such, then doing QB64 in some of his spare time. I'm a very patient person, but when someone says "discuss SHELL", I'm happy to offer my ideas about it. As for Unicode, it is just a matter of time, if it will be implemented.

Methinks you jump to conclusions too quickly. Wait, are you the Easter bunny? That would explain the jumping part...
