then it seems you were in the wrong thread. I don't recall seeing Linux mentioned in that thread. But what makes Linux different from Vista in that sense? What I mean is, why is it so important to you that it works on Vista, while Linux is irrelevant? I'm not saying Galleon should make a Linux version now. I also believe he should concentrate on his current efforts before porting. But Linux support was a stated goal, I think.

Who's pushing? We were just having some discussion. With regard to adding SHELL, this has been stated by several, including Galleon, to be trivial, if it's just a straight through function to access the shell.

And SHELL isn't a "goody" anyway. That's part of the QBASIC language, which is what YOU have said you want to see implemented. True, we discussed some extras, but that was just discussion, at this point.
