yeah qbasic has the same problem loading unix lf txt files in dosbox

usually i load the file in leafpad and save as crlf, but that's not the best solution.

preferably, qb64 (which is for windows, and also linux and mac, both of which use lf) line input would be able to handle text from both crlf and lf text files. the project i mentioned earlier has a routine that simulates line input using a binary file and loads either crlf or lf lines automatically, and it's good for that project, but i think galleon could probably write a better one.
