Qbasic Bugsby (Login burger2227)QUOTE: "Being selective about which QB "bugs" to emulate, means that QB64 will never be 100% compatible, and I believe supporting OO and defaulting to larger variable types will also complicate this, but overall QB64 will probably maintain a more "acceptable" level of QBASIC compatibility than FB, and in many cases, already does. The people here are reasonably happy with the current level, and it should only increase in future." Not all bad, thanks! Better number accuracy is not a real problem unless you cannot accept it in an old piece of code. This is rarely a problem really. Some bugs of Qbasic must remain for code compatability and Galleon has new functions to allow a new way to deal with those intrinsic QB problems. Qbasic MUST be updated somehow to allow new features otherwise unavailable since 1990. I think most people are pleased with the developements so far and are willing to wait for the inevitable problems that always come along when something new is released. That is why I NEVER buy a new kind of car, until it has had most of the bugs fixed either! QB has had bugs since it was created ..... everything created by God and Man has had "bugs". Ted
