Keep going in this direction and we won't have to do any function coding." but i've heard that one before. maybe it's better we have to all write our own input and binary conversion routines, but i was told the same thing about all kinds of normal qbasic functions, back when i asked why i couldn't use them in a previous effort to clone qb. it goes against galleon's philosophy about not needing to modify existing programs, and as i said, he only needs to change "8" to "2" to do binary, and since he already implemented hex$, "16" to "8" for octal. it's not a big deal. but it wasn't a big deal when qbguy mentioned it, either, so right question, wrong person. from IP address 87.204.26.205 |
