I don't know all the quirks, but someone tried to put QB in BNF once. and couldn't, or couldn't do it all...well first, function calls are never in BNF they are part of th runtime. but there's part of the QB grammar itself that couldn't be put into BNF form....a while back... maybe he was talking about QB's ability to run GW basic programs. that part of the the language. but when I think about it, if Pascal can be put in BNF, I don't see why QB itself couldn't be put in there too sicne they are very similar. |
