Interesting ...by (Login qb432l)R I got pretty much the results you would expect from your code, but as I said, I've used CALL ABSOLUTE mouse routines in place of QB64 commands. There was a significant improvement over the original version -- which went crazy with uninitiated mouse clicks once you clicked just once. With CALL ABSOLUTE they are very rare (I have a CALL ABSOLUTE mouse clearing sub program that works fine). Like I said, it's not the code, it seems to be W7 that's causing the problems -- but it's especially true with QB64's mouse routines. Don't forget that I didn't have any such problems running the program under XP.
I haven't had any problems with Animax! or KONG under W7 because they both use CALL ABSOLUTE mouse routines. Of course, that may be because the mouse isn't as active in those programs. All the test programs I created to test different routines, return what you'd expect: an unclicked mouse button returns zero. I think I'll wait and see what others report on the same subject.
