A Christian does sin, but he/she no longer does so habitually because of the new nature that has been given him/her when they were born again of the Spirit and Word of God. We now have a choice of whether or not to give in to the temptation to sin, whereas the old nature could not help but sin since it is the sin nature passed down to us from Adam.
