"Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 3).

Jesus as a 'sub-god'

Response to Is Jesus A Created Being?

"Jesus as a wimp". Sheeeesh! He was in the habit of walking from Galilee or Tyre to Jerusalem, and thought nothing of it; on one swing, he returned to Galilee via the 10 Cities (Decopolus) on the other side of the Jordan river, which about doubled the trip. By Law, Joseph and Mary had to take Jesus to the Temple in Jerusalem when he was 12 years old, and then they returned part-way home until they missed him and went back to Jerusalem to fetch him. And Joseph had taken his extremely pregnant 12-year old wife Mary from Nazereth to Jerusalem/Bethlehem on a donkey for Caesar's census, and they they went all the way down to Egypt to hide from Herod. And there weren't very many busses in those days.

Those people weren't wimps!! :^>

Another 'logic' I've seen to 'prove' Jesus is less than God is that he called himself SON of God; for there to be a son there must FIRST be a father, so God preceeded Jesus and Jesus came afterward. Therefore, he wasn't a first cause and not divine in the same order as God, but was at best a sub-divinity.

But, then, any way God's and Christ's divinity can be reduced is a gain for the Enemy, no?
