I was curious what he would say about the Church, so I read
this piece. After reading it, I don't disagree with him, but I don't agree either. Yes, there are flamboyant preachers, or misguided hierarchies, or unneeded rules or rituals, but the Church is established as the Bride of Christ and I'm sure he does NOT consider her irrelevant.
The principle duty of the Bride is to help the children into a closer personal relationship with her husband as he truly is. IMV, the Church overall, even though composed of errant people, has helped guide many many souls to Christ. Those who deny the Church's role in salvation are cutting themselves at least partially off from what they seek and are making that salvation harder than necessary to achieve.
But this is an excellent site, from what little I've been able to read of it so far, and I intend to give his thoughts some study. Thanks for posting this.
