Response to True Christians

Excellent thought! I also remember how denominations used to fight and consign each other to Hell ^_^. Now we increasingly help each other. Partly, I think, that's because we are all under threat together from secularist religions... and we're starting to realize that. It's similar to how in the OT God allowed Israel to be threatened and even destroyed in order to make the Israelites listen to his Word.

That phrase "True Christian" continues to give me trouble. I have a definition and you have a definition, but more and more I suspect we are both wrong and only Jesus knows. I keep thinking about Peter and how many times he blew it, and yet Jesus honored him and made him the first Pope (to MY way of thinking, anyway ^_^). That tells me something about what is true Christianity. Maybe over time it will tell me more.

The fact that you and I agree on so many things also tells me something more.

The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you;
The Lord lift up his countenance over you and give you his peace, now and ever.
Amen +
