"Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 3).

"We did not give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might remain with you" (Galatians 2:5 NIV).

Paul and Titus never budged from their position of salvation by grace through faith alone, when dealing with the false brethren who were Judaizers, who had pretended to be sent from the Jerusalem church, to instruct Gentile Believers that they had to follow the Mosaic Law. Today, there are a great many false brethren who have infiltrated the Body of Christ, bringing with them all sorts of heretical teachings, and we need to stand firm against them and not be beguiled by them.

Rev. Jack Howell
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16)
