"I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture" (John 10:7 NIV).
Continuing with the metaphor of the sheep-gate, Jesus identified Himself as that Gate (v. 7) and shows that salvation is through Him alone and through no other. Verse 6 shows that the Pharisees did not understand what He was saying because they were spiritually blind, just as many are today, hence the reason we have so many false teachers proclaiming false ways of salvation which only lead one down the broad path to everlasting ruin (Matthew 7:13-14, 21-23).

"Some bring God's curse on them by marking off part of the Bible, calling it erroneous, uninspired, less than the very Word of God." - Dr. John R. Rice
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16)
