"Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 3).

"God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth" (John 4:24 NIV).

This is a declaration of God's invisible nature. He is not confined to one location. Worship of God can be done only through the One (Jesus) who expresses Gods invisible nature (Jn. 1:18) and by virtue of the Holy Ghost who opens to a believer the new realm of the kingdom (compare with Jn. 3:3, 5; 7:38-39).

This also means that God the Father does not have a body of flesh and blood as some erroneously teach, for He is incorporeal. God is not the sun, moon, stars; nor an image of wood, stone, or metal; and not beast or man. He is not the air, wind, universal mind, love or some impersonal quality as others erroneously teach. Our worship of Him in spirit and truth brings spiritual liberty (2 Cor. 3:17).

Pastor Jack Howell
"Some bring God's curse on them by marking off part of the Bible, calling it erroneous, uninspired, less than the very Word of God." - Dr. John R. Rice

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16)
