"But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD" (Joshua 24:15b NIV).
Regardless of whether or not the nation of Israel chose to worship the LORD, the one true God, or follow after false pagan deities, Joshuah, as leader of Israel was determined that he and his family were going to serve the LORD. We need to have this resolve, that no matter what, we are going to serve God regardless of what everyone else may do. We are to be God pleasers, not crowd pleasers.

"Some bring God's curse on them by marking off part of the Bible, calling it erroneous, uninspired, less than the very Word of God." - Dr. John R. Rice
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God to salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16)
